Website Redesign & Redevelopment

Website redesign that protects everything you’ve already earned.

Whether you’re refreshing a site that’s gone stale or rebuilding one that’s holding you back, we modernize without losing your rankings, your speed, or the customers you already convert. We’re experts in website redesign and redevelopment.

A redesign should make your site faster, clearer, and worth more, not quietly cost you the search traffic and conversions you spent years building. Most redesigns fail at exactly that point, because they’re run as art projects instead of engineering projects. We run yours as both.

01 · The honest starting point

Two doors, one honest answer: redesign or rebuild?

There are really only two situations you can be in, and the expensive mistake is guessing wrong. We tell you which one you actually need before you commit, based on a free audit of your real site, not on which one we’d rather sell.

A 20-second gut-check

Answer three quick questions for an instant, honest steer. It’s a starting point, the real call comes from the audit.

How old is your current site, or when was it last rebuilt?
How does it feel on mobile, speed and smoothness?
Is your platform or CMS holding you back?
Answer the three aboveWe’ll point you at the likely path, redesign or rebuild.

This is a directional gut-check, not a diagnosis. The actual decision is made on evidence, your live site, analytics, and rankings, in the free audit.

Find out which one you need
Your likely path Improve what works

Redesign

Think remodel, on the structure you already have.

  • New layout, sharper UX, refreshed brand
  • Faster pages on the same foundation
  • Right when the foundation is solid and it mainly looks & converts below potential
Your likely path Rebuild the foundation

Redevelopment & Replatform

Think tear-down-and-rebuild, everything migrated across safely.

  • New architecture, often a new platform
  • Fixes slow legacy code, aging CMS, security & maintenance headaches
  • Right when no amount of repainting fixes the foundation

Many businesses pay for repeated redesigns when the technical debt called for one clean rebuild. The audit prevents that, and neither door earns us more.

02 · The risk nobody names

Your biggest risk in a redesign isn’t the design, it’s losing your search traffic.

Most agencies won’t say this out loud. According to website-migration analysis from Numen Technology*, only a minority of migrations improve search performance, while a large share lose organic traffic, almost always because the redesign was treated as a creative project, not a search migration.

When URLs change without one-to-one 301 redirects, the ranking authority on those pages evaporates. When titles, descriptions, and alt text don’t carry over, or internal links break, the new site launches “beautiful” and then slides down the rankings for months. Botched redirect plans have produced well-documented post-launch traffic and revenue losses.*

  3. Build a one-to-one 301 redirect mapClean redirects, no chains, never a lazy bulk-redirect to the homepage.
  4. Transfer metadata & structured dataAnd preserve URL structure wherever it’s already earning.
  5. Rebuild on a no-index staging siteThen run a full crawl for errors before anyone launches.
  6. Refresh & resubmit the sitemapOn launch day, so search engines re-index cleanly.
  7. Monitor rankings through the indexing windowAnything that slips is caught and fixed fast.
The result: the new site improves on the old one without surrendering what the old one earned.

Illustrative of the mapping discipline, every changed URL gets its own clean 301, so authority transfers instead of evaporating.

03 · Scope

What a 10Turtle redesign actually includes.

A redesign is more than a new skin. Budget agencies hand you design files and leave SEO migration, content, and integrations as expensive surprises later. Ours is end-to-end and priced honestly up front. Hover or tap any line to see what it means.

04 · Speed

Fast isn’t a feature. It’s the difference between ranking and converting.

Most of your visitors arrive on a phone, and both Google and your buyers judge the site in the first couple of seconds. Google measures real-world experience through three Core Web Vitals, each scored across the slowest 25% of real visits, and a confirmed ranking signal.

05 · Accessibility

Accessible and compliant, because in 2026 it’s both the right thing and the legal thing.

Accessibility isn’t a nice-to-have anymore; it’s enforceable. We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, so your redesigned site reaches every user, lowers legal risk, and earns the accessibility signals that also help SEO. It’s an expertise we apply to your site and a standard we hold ourselves to.

07 · Investment

What it costs, and the better question to ask.

Redesign pricing varies widely because it isn’t a commodity: two quotes that look different are usually different products. The sharper question isn’t “what does a redesign cost?” It’s “what is my current site costing me?”

The better question

What is your current site costing you?

A site converting at 1% when its category averages ~2.5% leaves real money on the table every month. Move the sliders to see the gap.

Illustrative estimate only, 2.5% is a commonly cited cross-industry average, not a guarantee. Framed against this gap, a redesign reads as a revenue investment, not an expense.

08 · Why 10Turtle

One accountable partner, a dedicated expert team for each capability.

A redesign usually touches design, development, content, SEO, and sometimes a full rebrand, and the moment those live in different agencies, the seams show and the accountability disappears. With 10Turtle it’s one accountable partner under one roof, with a dedicated expert team for each capability.

  • No outsourcing, no white-label markup, no finger-pointing, the people who scope it are the people who build it.
  • The depth of specialists, the simplicity of a single owner of the outcome.
  • Because we genuinely lead with redesign and redevelopment, you’re working with people who’ve protected rankings and rebuilt foundations many times over, not generalists treating your site as their first migration.

09 · While we’re in there

Automate the work the site creates.

A redesign is the perfect moment to fix what happens after the click. The same project can wire in the automation behind your site, so the new site doesn’t just look better; it runs leaner.

We build these on Anthropic’s models as a partner, not a dependency, and our dedicated AI team can scope it alongside the redesign, lead routing, CRM updates, follow-ups, support chat, and AI agents that handle repetitive work.

10 · Industries

Redesigns tuned to your industry.

The right redesign for a SaaS product, an ecommerce store, a healthcare provider, or a professional-services firm looks different, because the buyer, the compliance bar, and the conversion path are different. We bring patterns that work in your space, and the regulatory awareness that comes with it.

14 · Questions

Straight answers.

Not if the redesign is run as a search migration. Ranking loss happens when URLs change without one-to-one 301 redirects, or when metadata and internal links break. We inventory every URL, map a clean redirect for each changed one, carry over metadata and structured data, test on a staging site, and monitor rankings after launch, so search equity transfers to the new site instead of evaporating.

As an industry reference, a focused refresh typically runs about $10,000-$25,000, a fuller business redesign about $30,000-$80,000, and an enterprise rebuild with custom architecture $100,000+. The right number depends on page count, custom design, integrations, and whether you're redesigning or replatforming. We quote a fixed scope after a free audit. (Ranges are 2026 industry references, pending our own published pricing.)

A focused marketing-site redesign usually takes 6-12 weeks, a fuller business site 8-14 weeks, and an enterprise rebuild several months. Timelines depend most on scope, integrations, and how quickly content and feedback come back. Be wary of anyone promising a large custom redesign in four weeks, it usually means skipped QA or SEO.

A redesign improves the look, UX, structure, and speed on a foundation that's still sound, like remodeling a room. A redevelopment (or rebuild) replaces the foundation itself: code, CMS, often the whole platform, like a tear-down and rebuild. Our free audit tells you which one your site actually needs.

If your site is fundamentally sound but looks dated or under-converts, a redesign is usually enough. If it's slow (especially on mobile), hard to maintain, built on legacy or outgrown technology, or has security and scalability problems, those are foundation issues a redesign can't fix, that's when a rebuild pays off. We decide on evidence from the audit, not on which option earns us more.

Yes. Replatforming is core to what we do, moving from a builder or legacy code to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or a custom build, migrating content, URLs, and integrations cleanly and without losing rankings.

Yes. Content is migrated in full, and we preserve URLs wherever they're earning traffic. Where URLs must change, each one gets a one-to-one 301 redirect, so links, bookmarks, and rankings keep working.

Mobile-first and Core Web Vitals optimization are built into every redesign, fast loading (LCP), responsiveness (INP), and visual stability (CLS), because most of your visitors, and Google's ranking judgment, are mobile.

We build to WCAG 2.2 AA, which supports ADA expectations in the US and European Accessibility Act requirements in the EU. Accessibility widens your reach, lowers legal risk, and supports SEO.

We set KPIs up front, rankings and organic traffic, Core Web Vitals, conversion rate, and lead/revenue metrics, and monitor them after launch, so success is measured against your goals, not just a nicer screenshot.
